We did it together; we did it to honor Marla; we did it because the best part of being a human being is our ability to show compassion and carrying; and we did it to raise funds to support ALS research and those people suffering from ALS. And you can do it too!
Last year as Marla’s Team we “gave the boot to ALS” by participating in the ALS walk and raising funds making a difference for those affected by Lou Gehrig’s Disease, helping advance ALS research, expanding access to care for ALS patients, and enabling legislation that impacts the quality of life for patients and their families. And now you can do it too!
Join Team Marla and give the boot to ALS with your donation and/or by joining us on October 22nd for the Inland Empire ALS Walk, or by participating in a fundraising walk in your area. With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this fatal disease often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease that can strike anyone, robbing their body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe.
This last year the ALS Association helped our dear friend Marla obtain an Electronic Eye Gaze Speech Generating Device, which cost in excess of $10,000.00, and donations made by people like you furthered ALS research: this last year the FDA approved Radical, the first ALS therapy in 22 years. So please know your donations do make a difference!!!!
You too can “give the boot to ALS!” THANK YOU!
